I've been asked a number of times how long should a scarf be for their height. It depends, of course. How will you tie the scarf? How long do you want it to hang down?

The average adult formula for a scarf length is your height, in inches, plus about four inches.

If you like your scarf longer or shorter, make the appropriate adjustment from that formula!
